I have af HP laptop, using vista home premium. The problem is that I can't install a printer. No matter what type of printer I try to install the install will start but shortly after the installation will stop saying the printer could not be installed error 000005b3. I have also tried to install a print to pdf but that also will give the same error message.
I have tried installing the printer using the driver located in vista, tried downloading them from the internet, and no matter what I do it will still give the same error message.
My vista is installed with english OS and english keyboard, so the thing with not having the language match in keyboard and OS is not an issue in my case. I have tried calling HP support, but they have no idea what is causing the problem, and therefore they have no fixes for it. I am a student and therefor printing is nessessary. Anything that can fix the problem is very welcome.
