| Vista Home Premium x86 - SP2 | Re: camcorder Hi carter48. Does this device show up in the Device Manager? 1) Go to the Start Menu > Control Panel 2) Open up Device Manager 3) Take a look for your Camcorder If it is not installed correctly, you will see a yellow exclamation point, and we will go from there. Let me know how it goes! Also, in your next post can you please provide some further information about your setup? I see you have "Vista Home 32bit" is this Home Premium or Home Basic? Also, what is the brand/model of your camcorder. Are you able to successfully connect other firewire devices with that port? Thank you! Let's work together to fix this. |

| Win7 64bit Ultimate | Re: camcorder That was a hard one. OK download this: Picture Motion Browser Ver.2.0.13 for Windows Vista : Sony India when you start the program it will ask you to put the Picture Packet CD in that came with the camera. Or you can use a firewire card and cable that works on most vista editions. You can also use a Mem stick and load that in to a card reader. But the top one should work. (32bit Vista ONLY.)
