| vista home premium | Webcam I'm installing a laptop with Vista. Do I have to do anything special to activate the webcam. It doesn't seem to be there. |

| vista home premium | Re: Webcam Many thanks for the reply. I have downloaded the drivers, and now have an icon on the task bar, but it is x-ed out, saying the device is disconnected. Is there something I have to do to turn it on? The green light is showing so it looks as though it's on. |

| Vista Ultimatex64 Windows 7 build 7100 | Re: Webcam Web cams are not my thing, but can you right click on this icon and maybe use the context menu? I imagine that it needs to be configured. It could well be that you need additional software for it to work, eg. quicktime I hope this helps Pooch |
