| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: 176.47 or 180.48? i have been using the 180.48 for couple of days or more and didnt face any problems yet ) but i had to use a MODDED INF file to get driver installed, cause its original file dont listing my card, though 176.47 was released especially for latest mobile video cards and desktops, including mine.so i wonder if the dedicated driver would give me a better performance |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: 176.47 or 180.48? Using 180.48 on my dual GTX 260s in SLI and I can't say I have really noticed a *major* improvement* - but then again, I don't think I really have games that are going to push those cards in the first place.... |

| Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: 176.47 or 180.48? ![]() But I digress... I have the 180.48 as well and I didn't notice any performance or improvements with my ECS 8800GT (just got the GTX260, not installed yet). Now, if your card calls for the previous one and you didn't have I problem with it, I would revert back to it only if the 180.48 would give me any problems. |

| Vista Ultimate 64 | Re: 176.47 or 180.48? I have had no problems with the 180.48. I was using 178.13 and after installing 180.48 I noticed a nice improvement in Stalker & Crysis using a 8800GT. Got about a 5-8FPS average improvement in FPS in both games. Doesn't sound like much but when I was getting only about 21-23 FPS average with most everything maxed in 1600X1200 then an extra 5-8FPS is actually A LOT, enough to make the game playable. |
