Trying to install the driver to the HP laptop results in the message - no driver found. Orange, who supplied the m/c, say 64 not compatible. only 32 bit! Worked fine on my old XP powered crate. Should I: 1/ switch off signing device of computer 2/ try to buy or get driver from Dongle maker, ie Option or is there no solution until Option decide to create a driver. I would go on to internet by a fixed telephone line but I live in a wilderness!
please help!!

Colliias welcome to the forums.

That driver will not work on Vista 64 even with driver signing off. You're going to need to find a x64 driver for it to work; Vista preferably, or possibly a XP x64 driver (they have been known to work on Vista).

Thanks stormy 13, I'll try for a Vista driver but in the end I think the only way I'm going to get a reliable internet link is by satellite, unless the local Mayor starts spending my taxes on something I need - any advice - please.
