Driver reinstall on every boot-up?

I am getting driver reinstalls very often on startups.

The drivers that get reinstalled are my hidef audio device, my external hard drives, and sometimes my ethernet cards.

There is actually no problem after they reinstall, the devices work fine. This just slows down startup a lot.

How can i fix this?

What happened prior to this ?
Did you recently re-install Windows ? ?
If so did you remember to re-install the MBoard drivers afterwards ?
They will be on the Driver CD that shipped with your MBoard.

P.S. You haven't provided enough info to determine what the issue may be...

Yes this is from a reinstall.

No idea what my motherboard name is, or the company that made it. I don't have the CD for it either.

What other information do you need?

Ok i ran a Belcar system spec utility and found my motherboard is ECS P4M900T-M 1.0.

I downloaded all the available drivers. Should i install them including the BIOS driver?

These drivers are the exact drivers that keep reinstalling on startup.

What is the bios driver? Is it an Intel driver for example or a Bios update?

I don't know if it is an intel driver, or how to find that out, but it looks like an update because there are two bios downloads and the one i downloaded is from this year. The older one is from last year when i bought the computer.

The reason I asked is that bios updates need to be applied with caution. It is possible to "Brick" your PC with a failed bios update. An Intel driver is the system driver, usually for LAN etc. Try reinstalling the drivers with elevated privileges, ie right click on the exe file and click "Run as Administrator".

Ok reinstalling drivers from the ECS website and flashing the BIOS seems to have worked. Thanks!

You are welcome. Have a very merry Christmas
