| Microsoft® Windows Vista™ Home Premium (32-bit) | Printer Sharing issues When one activates printer sharing to other servers on a local network, are the other workstations meant to have immediate access to printing, or do they have to install the printer's supported drivers? | Vista x64 + Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate) | Re: Printer Sharing issues If I am not mistaken, you still need to go to the other workstations of your network and install a printer but, instead of using "Local Port", you would use Network printer and let Windows find it. If it doesn't find it is because you have a different WORKGROUP name for your network on the other computers. |
