How to hook up a Microsoft wireless keyboard with Logitec mouse

i recently got a new wireless Microsoft keyboard/Mouse combo. The mouse is too large for my hand. I do a lot of Photoshop and my hand is killing me, so I tried to install my old Logitec (comfortable) mouse. No go..
I downloaded the newest Vista 64 bit drivers for both. The Microsoft keyboard has a stick-type USB. The Logitec mouse has a little USB thingie that sits on the desk. Only one of them will work at a time.I've tried every configuration I can think of and can't get them both to work at the same time. The thing is, when I got this new computer (with Vista) they both worked together fine..until I installed a new video card. Now they won't play nice together at all.The mouse hangs once in a while and akthough I have set it to be as precise as it can be..it isn't.
My Wacom tablet mouse won't work either, or I would be happy using that.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

For your Logitech mouse DONT use the microsoft driver, just download and install the driver from the:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/&cl=us,en
Advice:live some space between the resievers, especially if they are not a bluetooth is better to put them high for better signal. You can use a usb external cable.

Panais,
Thanks. Here's the conflict (I think). Do I I need to use the USB connectors for both, but what should I do, uninstall the Microsoft Mouse driver? I already went to Logitec and downloaded the driver for that mouse. I have the Microsoft USB stick in the front of the computer's USB port and the Logitec's USB ported into a hub. Since they are both wireless, do you mean it's possible to run both of them from one optical connection, like the Microsoft stick and not run both wireless signal thingies? Sorry, I don't know the correct term for them.. The keyboard needs the Microsoft USB. Maybe the Logitec mouse can get a signal from that?

It's working.. I don't know what I did. I downloaded the Logitec driver again and both the Microsoft keyboard and the Logitec mouse are working properly..
Thanks!!

For art / photoshop work get yourself a tablet. If you are unsure about getting one then buy a cheap one, trust do a good range. I have bought one myself and a mouse, just can not compete.

Never use hub for receivers,it might freeze ur hardware (mouse\keyboard...)
NO logitech and microsoft CAN'T receive signal from the same <<eye>>they use different frequency.
