Printer driver disappearing

I have a network including a HP Pavilion DV9500 notebook with VISTA 32 home premium (using wireless connection) and two HP printers, one old HP Laser Jet 6P and a new HP Color laser jet CM1312 MFP. The HP 6P printer always works (paralell port connected to HP 704P router used only to connect that printer to the network).

When I install the SW for the new printer (latest version of SW - CM1312series-full-solution-EMEA2 3.1 and I have also updated the flash memory on the printer) everything works for some time - could be days or weeks - but suddenly one day the printer driver is gone. When I try to reinstall the printer using add new printer the printer is found on the network, but fails to install. The only way is to de-install the printer from the menue under all programs and then re-install it again -takes a lot of time. It will then work again for some time but disappear again later.

I have tried to find information on the net, and I believe there are similar problems described, but I am not sure what to do. The Spooler on my computer seems to be running. I have found a lot off errors and warning messages in the log book and can see that the spooler has removed my printer (including printer drivers for OneNote and Microsoft Office Document Image Writer) at varios times in the past. There are also a lot of warnings that print manager could not open a printer connection due to error reading confuguration informations fro registry key S-1-5-18\Printers\Connections (translation from the swedish OS).

Can anyone help me?
