Is it the drivers?Or isn't it?

Some of you may have seen that i have posted a few other threads, all generally to do with this issue. I am looking into buying a new computer but until then would like to know if there is anyway at all that i can get my video card up to scratch. I'm using an acer aspire m1610 with a 1.6GHZ Intel Pentium Dual processor and in Display adapters it says that i have a Standard VGA graphics adapter. Whenever i run my vista scan it tells me the drivers are up to date, but an online one that i tried said they aren't!
Is there nothing i can do but buy a new video card?

did you not get a link to the drivers in your preious post? , if it says "standard vga adapter" then you dont have the correct drivers installed , the game will be getting its info on yuor card from the same place you are so it will asume you dont have a card that can run it , you need to get them from the chipset manufacturers website or from the acer website , goto acer goto "support" and you will be able to input your make and model and it will link you to the various drivers

Your graphics is intergrated onto the mobo, unless you have added a card.
You need to look for ;

SiS Mirage 3+ Integrated

Here is a detailed summery of the chip;

SiS eLibrary > Articles > SiS671FX Series Powerfully Show Up

You can try this site for the drivers.
