| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | Holux 60 PDA GPS USB Sync Trying to connect my Holux 60 PDA GPS to new Vista 64 bit Dell. Vista recognizes the unit but can't find a USB sync driver to install. Original driver is Acitve Sync XP based. Holux isn't offering Vista compatible software. Any generic driver out there that can restore communication between the two. Or any other solutions? Thanks, Glen |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: Holux 60 PDA GPS USB Sync Hi GlenW, No you can't use XP's Hot Sync on Vista! Hot Sync doesn't work on Vista. You'll have to try Windows Mobile Device Center. Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 | Windows Vista Support Not sure if it'll work with your Holux 60 PDA GPS though. Good luck |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | Re: Holux 60 PDA GPS USB Sync The Holux runs Active Sync. Vista doesn't support it. Whether or not you can install another driver on the PDA becomes a chicken and egg problem because if you can't get them to talk, how can you install a driver to get them to talk? You literally need an arbitrating driver or program to act as an emulator. |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | Re: Holux 60 PDA GPS USB Sync I have Mobile Device Centre. Problem is that Vista is demanding a USB Sync Driver to finish installing the Holux. The available driver is XP based and Vista won't touch it to finish the install. I Googling I have seen this but don't know if it applies. I don't know if it requires previous communication with the device or if this technique overcomes that by force loading a compatible driver in both directions to establish communication. Any idea?
