| vista home premium | Restore I have a problem with my computer, it is not downloading. I was trying to restore the computer to the last good condition and it only shows yesterday's date. No matter what type of document I try to download even though it shows that the file is downloading and I hear the chime when it is complete I don't know where it goes, I try to download the Regcure and samething happens, I don't know where the file has gone and the disk is filling up really quick I had a 1.7g available yesterday now I only have 244mg. |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit SP2 | Re: Restore first of all its a good thing you cant download regcure......it wont "cure" anything trust me secondly as your hard drive is rapidly shrinking im assuming your downloads are going somewhere , you have checked the "downloads" folder i assume? or tried using the search function to find your missing downloads? |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit SP2 | Re: Restore ![]() click the start orb , at the bottom of the resulting window there will be a flashing cursor in a box with "start search" written in it in there type the name of a file you have recently downloaded and wait to see what it finds if it finds a file (it will show it in the box ubove) right click it and select properties , under the shortcut tab in the TARGET box there will be a file path telling you exactly where the file is loacated this may help you find your missing downloads if your unsure just copy and paste the target location here we can see where they are for you |

| Vista home premium 64 bit | Re: Restore If what archie has suggested does not help, a method I have found is to click on the download again and see where it wants to save to. Dont download just look in the location to see if the downloads are there. |
