Nvidia 190.38 Drivers Crash Windows Media Center

AMD Athlon 64bit 5800+/Asus M3N78 Pro/4G Ram/GeForce 8300 on board, GeForce 9600 in Pce slot SLI enabled Vista Ultimate 64bit sp2 recently upgraded.......

I installed the latest Nvidia drivers after a repair/upgrade install of Vista Ultimate. Everything seems to be running fine, including the Windows Media Player, for videos, but if I try to open Windows Media Center for live TV, WMC crashes and the mouse cursor disappears from the screen -- I can log-out and then in again using Ctl-Alt-Del, and the issue disappears until I try to launch Windows Media Center. Any Work-arounds here? Anyone? Anyone?

Did you disable the on-board 8300 drivers in BIOS? It may be conflicting with the 9600. Otherwise roll back to a previous driver with system restore or device manager or install the newest drivers from nvidia here:

With SLI enabled, it was not necessary, as the driver install applet installed the driver for both GPUs -- I think this is a WMC failing, as everything works fine under Hauppauge's WinTV v. 7, which I re-installed. I just won't use the WMC -- or hold my breath for MS to resolve the conflict! Thanks anyway.
