Can someone help me. I have a Philips I Catch (VI) PC Camera, have used it with XP and now have a new HP witch runs Windows Vista Home Premium, and the system type is 64-bit.
I tried to set up my web cam and it says I need new drivers, I cannot find a web site for these drivers. I do have the disk that came with my cam, but it still says cannot find drivers...Any Help?
Thanks,
Teri

Windows Vista will usually find the driver automatically from Windows Update. Once it finds it, it will usually notify you.

However...

If your webcam happens to be an old one, you should go to the manufacturer's website to find the driver. In your case, maybe you should go to www.philips.com.

If your webcam happens to be an old one, you should go to the manufacturer's website to find the driver. In your case, maybe you should go to Home - Royal Philips.

i'm not sure if this will help you, but i use drivermax 5.2 for my drivers. if you can install it, once it has opened up, click on the first link "check online for driver updates" (make sure your cam is plugged in) ,look for usb devices or video devices, and if it is outdated, click on the download picture to the right of it. download the dmx-info file, and let drivermax download for you. install driver, then restart.

if this fails, as i am doubtful about it, listen to Ojaser6 and go to philips and find the driver.

UPDATE: on the drivermax update website, it comes under imaging devices.
