OTO

You can use the snipping tool (built in) by typing snipping tool in search. goto c:\windows\minidump and zip the dump (*.dmp) file. to upload usee the paperclip shaped icon on the reply form to attach the file for upload.

If you need any help let us know. We have some really good ppl at debugging dump files so we will take a look

Appears to be a problem with compatibility. The first statement (stacks read from the bottom up) in the stack trace refers to a 32 bit address (0x776971ba) - but this is a 64 bit system.

Please zip up the entire contents of the C:\Windows\Minidump directory and upload that .zip file.

Not much info from this minidump, and the stack appears to be abnormal. I wonder if this is a 32 bit program/driver trying to run in 64 bit mode - and not succeeding.

I've also got concerns with your ATI video driver - although dated in 2009, it shows up in my batch file as being older. Is there any possibility that this is a 32 bit driver (and not a 64 bit driver)? To be absolutely sure, I would uninstall all the ATI stuff from the system, then would download and install the x64 drivers from http://www.ati.com

Here's a link to the Vista compatibility center: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/
Please take a look in Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program to see what programs are installed on your system. Please take a screenshot (several if necessary) and post them here for us to have a look at.
In the meantime, you can search the Vista compatibility center for the applications that you're not sure of - to see if they are compatible or not.

If this doesn't find a "fix", then I'll suggest running Driver Verifier under a certain set of conditions that "should" force a BSOD with the info that we need.

And, all of this presumes that it's not a hardware problem. You may want to try some of the steps in this link at my blog: http://usasma.vox.com/library/post/b...iminaries.html

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000000000000, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: fffffa6001d5e2b8, Exception Record Address
Arg4: fffffa6001d5dc90, Context Record Address

Volsnap is part of windows. Run sfc /scannow in safe mode in an elevated command prompt. A guide I've written to debugging BSOD's is in my sig if you need it.

What is the browser config program you have installed? I also wouldn't be surprised if STEAM is falling over. Do the crashes happen during gameplay? Can you upgrade the Gigabyte RAID controller?
