| Vista Home basic x32 | Audio driver problems. Hi there, I recently installed Vista on my home computer, and I cannot find any audio drivers for it! I looked at realtek audio drivers and they only have drivers for XP. So I am wondering, is there some sort of work-around to getting a driver installed on my computer? here is my motherboard information: Board: Intel Corporation D915GUX AAC85199-203 Serial Number: BTUX52202110 Bus Clock: 200 megahertz BIOS: Intel Corp. SE91510J.15A.2525.2005.0414.1610 04/14/2005 I had no issue with installing the drivers for XP. Please any help would be just awesome. |

| Vista Home basic x32 | Re: Audio driver problems. I am not sure it doesn't give me a sound card product name or number. I think it may be built into the mother board |

| Ubuntu 9.10 64 Bit | Re: Audio driver problems. Actually, try this. This will automatically download and install a small utility from intel that checks your board for proper and up to date drivers. Probably the easiest way since neither of us can find it. http://www.intel.com/support/motherb...top/detect.htm |

| Vista Home basic x32 | Re: Audio driver problems. I am on a desktop. Its an E-4300 machine I bought it from the college I go to. I wonder if it is just because this computer isn't meant to support vista? If it is then I could probably go get a copy of XP |

| Vista Home basic x32 | Re: Audio driver problems. I ran it and it said no known drivers available. What now? man this would be so easy if there was a third party audio driver |

| Vista Premium x64 (dual booting with debian) | Re: Audio driver problems. Hmm google is your friend, try this Download Realtek AC'97 Driver A4.06 - FileHippo.com worst comes to worst It doesn't help you. Also It seems wierd that you can't find anything that tells you the audio chip part.... even if it is intergrated it should still list something under system information. |

| Ubuntu 9.10 64 Bit | Re: Audio driver problems. I dont think there are drivers for vista for that board though. Unless a third party like realtek has it, but intel for sure doesnt. |
