I have been using windows dvd maker, it goes through the whole encoding process and seems like it is burning but when it gets to the end it flashes up that there was a problem burning dvd, I also have this problem when I go to burn a CD through windows media player everything was fine till the start of the week, I can burn data files onto DVDs for work so I dont think it is a issue with the burner as it is reading as well. Can anybody please help me with this it is driving me mad? |

In device mgr look for the dvd/cd section. expand the tab and look for the dvd drives name. Is it there, and does it have a yellow triangle on it? If its not there are there any "unknown" devices with yellow triangles? let us know the results Ken |
