You can reinstall the driver for the Audio & drain Static electric City from the computer
For the notebook step's are
1) shutdown the notebook
2) disconnect every thing from the notebook even the battery
3) Hold down the power button for 1 min (battery & the power cable should be out)
4) Restart the notebook
Remember to reinstall the drivers for Audio
Issue should get resolved
Step's for Desktop
1) shut down the desktop
2) remove the power cable from SMPS
3) Hold the power button for 1 min
4) do a BIOS default
Remember to reinstall the drivers for Audio
Issue will get resolved

what you can try you can open device manager and
right click on audio drivers and select Update driver
select lemme pick
then, browse my computer
select the audio driver from the list
I m sure this will help you as these steps worked on my system
