CD Burner Not Working

I recently went to burn a CD through Windows Media Player. Everything was going as usual until it went to COMPLETE. Once that was done all the songs showed a red check beside them and there was nothing on the CD. I have a Dell E1405. I can't remember if there was an error code or not.

I would try another program, e.g. ImageBurn ( The Official ImgBurn Website ) - or if you happen to have Roxio on your system. That is pretty good too.

Ashampoo is another good all around burning software. Its also free like Imgburn. Either way. If both of these fail:
- check the cable connections to and from the cd drive in the case
- make sure there is nothing inside the drive that would cause it to malfunction(dust etc)
- if all the above fails I would suggest looking for a new and updated driver
- All the above fails it has taken a dump.
