Hey guys, im new here.

I have the Dell S2409W flat screen monitor, i have recently been having trouble with my graphics card the NVIDIA GeForce 9800. it has reverted back to VGA format and has a code 43 error. I have uninstalled the driver for the videocard and the monitor. the vidio card re installed sucessfully but the monoter can not be detected by the computer. i have downloaded the driver from dell.com but that is not working for 64 bit i suppose. This is very annoying. I think i just need the monitor driver and that would fix the problem. if anyone can send me a link it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

your moniter has got a driver installed because you can see the desktop/control panel etc. you just cant see the entry under device manager. thats probably just a registy error.
can you access the nvidia control panel to adjust the monitor and vid-card features and settings by either right clicking the desktop, right hand taskbar icon or control panel?

right download and install Guru3D - Driver Sweeper and then latest driver package for your card, uninstall the card and reboot in safe mode. use the cleaner and reboot as normal.
you should be able to install the drivers correctly now. if you still have problems check that the card is fitted properly and if it has an extra power cable check that too.
