Re-install and overwrite?

I am gonna re-install vista
I am do a overwrite
Will it save all my documents?? I dont think so
Is there any way I can save my files when I am re-installing

Your choice. Basically do a repair install and save your documents. This is nice and easy. Some old problems may still remain

Or

Do a clean install, have a trouble free new install. You cannot save documents.

when you do a re-install you cannot save the documents in the same partition as it gets formatted.

Just save your documents in a different partition and do a re-install. your documents wont be deleted.
