I don't remember what bug it was --- was found by IObit malware program, but it screwed up my wifi anyway and my usb ports won't recognize any new flash drives or anything plugged into them, except older stuff I'd added months ago. Happened about June 24-25th. I immediately tried to restore to an older restore point, but Vista hadn't kept any restore points older than that day and that didn't work. Tried reloading the drivers
by going to the Lenovo website and getting the drivers (intell 5100) for the wireless, but when I try to load them, it seems to work at loading them (takes 10 minutes or more, then gives me a message that the process can't access the drivers because they are in use by another process, what ever that means. I haven't tried to recover the drive back to the original state because I'd loose all my current programs and will have the hassle of having to buy or find the old keys.
