Hello,
This seems to be a common problem. The inability to get the Linksys Wireless Adapter WUSB54GC to work on 64 bit systems (especially Vista).
Everything was working fine a while ago, but I had to reinstall my OS. I've been in this situation a few times before, because this problem occurs every time I reinstall OS. Previously I somehow managed to find the correct drivers and get the adapter to work, but this time i feel completely stuck.

The problem:
WUSB54GC Linksys Wireless Adapter does not work on Visa Home Premium x64

Already tried:

  1. Original Linksys drivers (both from the CD provided and their website)
  2. Ralink drivers, which are supposed to use the same chip. Someone pointed that this solution might work.
  3. Installing drivers using setup.exe and by choosing files through Device Manager
I am out of ideas. Please help.

The link above pointed me to a WUSB54GC x64 file.
From there this link and the executable file on megaupload.
Unplug adapter, unpack, run setup.exe choose 'driver only' and TA-DA!
Thanks. Solved
