Window Mail losing saved message content

See point 3 here (www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3) as some 3rd party program is
probably causing this issue. Then run WMUtil on the database to repair it
(www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/)

Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, click Properties.
On the General tab you can change the displayed name.

1. Are you asking about webmail storage on the server?
I don't think AT&T limits it. If you want to be sure, ask AT&T support.

2. How did you access your RoadRunner emails? If your RoadRunner
emails are already downloaded to your hard drive, they will stay there.
Not sure what you mean by "Move to new". Are you also changing
your email client program?
Mail providers are independent of one's email client program.

It sounds as if some 3rd party program is interfering and messing things up.
See point 3 here: www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 Also try my Windows Mail
utility to compact and repair the database and see if that helps at all

You can select all the messages you wish to print and then go to Message |
Combine and decode and then you can print the result.

Alternatively, you can save the message to the Desktop as an eml file and
then rename it to give it an mht file extension and then the will open in IE
and you can print that.

When you get that prompt, click Stop or Cancel. That should produce
an error message. Right-click on your error message, copy, then
paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Incidentally, if you really mean Windows Live Mail rather than Windows Mail
you are posting in the wrong newsgroup. The newsgroup to which you
posted is dedicated to supporting the Windows Mail program.

However, mail server errors are universal (regardless of client program),

There really haven't been any Windows Mail updates to speak of.
However, there are frequent updates to antivirus programs, which
have the potential for making the antivirus less compatible with WM.
It would be a good idea to turn Norton off while allowing the WM
compaction to proceed. If the compaction still gets an error, try
running the various repair functions in the WMUtil program:

If still no improvement, consider either uninstalling Norton, or else
upgrade to Windows Live Mail: http://download.live.com/wlmail

In any case, email scanning in any antivirus should be disabled,
for reasons explained here:
