Only mail account folders can be moved.
Outbox and Storage Folders can't be moved.

Currently the only way to avoid that bug is to close down WLM
after each use.

[?] FEED: create some rules

HI,
is it possible with WLM to create some rules for the FEED?

I would for instance like that to every FEED corresponds a rule that sends
me him with an E-mail to xxx@newsgroup

I have looked for in all the menus but I don't find this possibility.

Well, what you have done already should rule out corruption of WLEssentials components, unless the corruption is re-occurring.

It is actually a separate program that controls the Contacts in the latest version of WLMail and WLMessenger called Windows Live Communications Platform (wlcomm.exe). If it fails to interact correctly with WLMail, the Internet or with your Network Adapters, there could be problems. Incorrect permissions or invasive security software may result in this.

Are you also installing WLMessenger, or other WLEssentials programs? If so, does WLMessenger start correctly? If WLMessenger is not installed, you might try installing and running it, since it interacts with the same Contacts Cache as WLMail (through WLComm).

What security programs have you installed (antivirus, antimalware, firewall)? It is possible that one is interfering with WLMail or WLComm's installation or operation.

Other software could also be interfering with WLMail or WLComm, so try running WLMail after a Clean Boot* (ensuring that your security software is not protecting itself from having its processes/services disabled).

Have a look for Error logs in Event Viewer (Start->Run->eventvwr [type]->OK) for clues as to the cause of the problem.

Booting into Safe Mode - with and without Networking (F8 at Startup->...) and trying to run WLMail is another diagnostic option.

A corrupt Windows System File is another possibility, so run SFC /SCANNOW (Start->Run->sfc /scannow [type]). See http://www.updatexp.com/scannow-sfc.html

Also scan your hard drive for errors (My computer->right-click drive->Properties->Tools [tab]->Error-checking [section]->Check now... [button]->'Automatically fix file system errors' [check]->Start [button]->Schedule disk check [button]->Restart computer.

For a look at the Chkdsk log, open Event Viewer:

Start->Run->eventvwr [type]->OK->Application->Information [Type]->Winlogon [Source]->1001 [Event]

(It is normal for Chkdsk to remove unused index entries and unused security descriptors every time it is run. These do not indicate a problem with the file system).

Also look in Device Manager for problems with Network Adapters (My Computer [Right-click]->Properties->Hardware [tab]->Device Manager [button].

ALT+TAB in Windows 7 Extremely Annoying

Is it just me? I've searched around and can't find anyone quite as
annoyed at ALT+TAB in Windows 7 as I am.

At first it works fine, just like it always used to. But if you're not
quite quick enough spotting the window you want, suddenly it starts
displaying windows on top of the switching strip so you can't see it
any more.

It's extremely confusing.

Then ALT+TAB cycles between windows in a life-size, always-on-top
fashion.

Yuck!

Anyone know how I can turn that off and just see the switching strip
like every other version of Windows I've ever used?

Like Stephen Goodman, this is the first time in all my years of using OE and
mail rules that I've ever heard of the "Stop processing" rule being a
"requirement".

If it's so important, then it would be nice if the help pages for Windows
Live Mail actually mentioned it. In fact, it would be nice if the help pages
for Windows Live Mail actually mentioned the topic of Mail Rules at all...

No, I don't know how that would happen, but I know that WLM can be set to
