    out of memory while playing FSX

    imrunning a
    HP pavillion A1710N
    Athalon 64 X 2 3800
    4gig DDr2 Ram
    250 gig HD


    and while playing fsx the machine runs out of memory why?

    Do you have problems with any other games? Have you tried lowering the settings?
    Have you recently messed with the Virtual Memory settings in Vista?
