Having trouble trying to install Civ IV. i have vista basic home, when i try to install i get an APPCrash problem. can anyone help me with this?

I installed civ 4 without any problems. I also installed the broken sword mod which is supposed to work with vista. Looking at the other websites the developers have said it is very hit and miss with vista, alot of people are getting this problem. Try installing under program compatability mode. If you do get it to work dont update it.

I got Civ IV and Civ IV Beyond the Sword installed and working no problem. Make sure you go get any patches available from the Civ IV website.
