| Newbie Rep Power: 4 ![]() | Need help with flash.. Hi, im new to this forum, so i dont know if this is the right place to post this, but i need some help with flash games. recently i installed vista home premium 32bit upgrade (Upgrade from XP media edition to vista home premium), and when i try to play flash games (E.g games from albinoblacksheep.com, freegamesworld.com, and my favourite N the ninja game) they work fine, but have occasional freezes, e.g it works for five seconds freezes and continues to work, which makes the games unplayable as the game freezes then continues with charcters jumping to the spots they should of been if it hadnt frozen (so it misses a little). Although this happens on games, on youtube and metacafe there seems to be no noticible stops or freezes. I have unistalled flash using adobes uninstaller, the windows uninstaller and manual deletion of files and unregistering the ocx. Each uninstall method i have done it in this order: Uninstall, Reboot, Install, Reboot. It continues to freeze. its very annoying. i've also tried downloading an executable flash file (N: The way of the ninja downloadle version, Mass missle mayhem) and it still freezes. Any ideas or ways to fix it? Thanks in advance |

Welcome to the Vista Forums ![]() I read an article that talked about Vista and Flash. It may provide you with some assistance: Justin’s Flash Blog » Flash Player and Windows Vista In the article it recommends downloading the latest version of Flash which should be Vista compatible. You can find that download here: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash I hope this helps. |
