Hey I just installed Crysis and have it running on 64 bit. I can only play for a short while until it either freezes or does the thing where windows closes it out saying it stop responding. Any input would be appreciated

Look in your error logs and performance logs in start--> right click on computer then choose manage.

How up to date are your gfx drivers?

sysmain is part of superfetch according to google.
Try turning off superfetch then run again.
Are you running it from the games directory?

It doesn't really matter where you run it from lol Crysis will lock up at some point. It did it for me anyways lol. You would think I have enough of a system to run that puppy in the highest graphic mode but i don't seem to. I'm not sure the NSA has a system that can run that game in the highest mode................

It's a GREAT game until about 2/3's to 3/4 of the way through then it goes down hill. The ending sucked. I had serious lag and lock up flying the VTOL and why do they give you chopper controls to program? I never got to fly a chopper in the dang game.........

Ah but what the heck, maybe I'll play it right now again instead of COD4 online. Since I fired my clan on COD, it just doesn't seem as fun anymore.
