I uninstalled them but SOMETHING didn't get all the way uninstalled. You can't re install them because it says they are there and you can't uninstall them again because when you try that it says they AREN'T there lol. Does that make sense? The tool I found is supposed to take care of that. When I find it, I'll send it to you as well. I think you'll like it. EDIT: And unlike me you will know how and when to use it lol. |

Yes dmex, but I can't reinstall it, first of all because I can't through the disc and second of all, because it's not in my 'All programs' anymore, unless you know another way to reinstall it? Greetings, Amplid |

Also note what it says about not using it on Office2007. Here is part of the description from the readme file: WHAT IS THE WINDOWS INSTALLER CLEAN UP UTILITY? The Windows Installer Clean Up Utility is a tool that can be used to remove Windows Installer configuration management information if a problem occurs. *** NOTE: The Windows Installer Clean Up Utility should not be used to remove the 2007 Microsoft Office System installation information. *** The Windows Installer configuration management information can become damaged if any of the following issues occur: - The computer's registry becomes corrupted. - A registry setting that is used by the Windows Installer is inadvertently changed, and this change results in a problem. - The installation of a program that uses Windows Installer (for example, Microsoft Office 2003) is interrupted. - There are multiple instances of a setup program running at the same time, or an instance of a setup program is "blocked." There is more, but that is the brief description. |

There just has to be some little trace left of the damned game on my pc, that I cannot find and which prevents me from reinstalling and even from uninstalling Call of Duty 2... ![]() Amplid |

Could've thought of that myself:s ![]() Although the rest probably helped too. So, problem solved! Thanks to all you guys, Forum rules ![]() Greetings, Amplid (anyone play COD2 online? ) |
