Re: Error Opening the Game file

no problem. Have you tired windows update? Sometimes you have to do it a couple of times for drivers to show up but maybe it'll pop up with the drivers you can try. did the computer come installed with vista or did you install it the first time yourself?

Re: Error Opening the Game file

You can try updating it though device manager? Other than that, the only thing I can think of is email your mb company for the drivers, buy a video card or reformat your hard drive again. Who knows? Maybe that'd fix it.

Re: Error Opening the Game file

It's pretty much personal preference - FWIW, you can get a ATI 4800 series card for cheaper, but I have always had more success and less fuss with nVidia cards, so I prefer them.

If you do go the ATI route, try to download the individual drivers files that you need as opposed to the entire Catalyst control center - that is one big whopping waste of space....

Re: Error Opening the Game file

Yeah I'm more fond of Nvidia myself. But like you said, that's just me. I used to use Ati but now it's Nvidia. No real reason other than my mobo has sli and not crossfire. Let us know how it works out.
