| Vista Ultimate 64bit | Re: Flight Simulator 2002 on Vista? FS2002 is not compatible with Vista. You need FSX for Vista and FSX SP1 for 64bit. |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Re: Flight Simulator 2002 on Vista? Sorry about FS2002. FS2004 works great on Vista 64. All you have to do is disable Vista Aero, (instructions here). I picked up the a disk of FS2004 on Amazon for $16. A lot of fun for that price. |

| vista home ultimate | Re: Flight Simulator 2002 on Vista? Ran into this problem as well with FS 2002 Pro in Vista and considering everything else in the sim works great, the trouble with the intro video issue became insignificant. Ignore the videos, load up your favorite airplane (mine: LearJet 45 Custom) and taxi out and go enjoy a nice flight to the Bahamas or something!! |

| Vista Ultimate x64 MAK, OpenSolaris 5, Gentoo 2008.1.... | Re: Flight Simulator 2002 on Vista? Or even better - grab a large jet and land a St. Maartens.....:P I think someone finally posted a cockpit view of that very landing in a real jetliner somewhere - it's a blast to see the water, beach and the runway coming at you at well over 100 mph.... |

| vista home ultimate | Re: Flight Simulator 2002 on Vista? Yes I recall seeing that too!! Amazing. I remember someone posting a screenshot over at AVS forums of a 747 landing at a tiny airport that was sunk into a huge volcano like hole!! Of course this was in the sim and not real!! However I had asked if that poster was able to take off and have enough airspeed after liftoff from a short runway to clear the pit walls before nose first into the walls or stalling out!! Never seen a reply to that question! Nice Quake I avitar btw!! Last edited by MrBurns; 07-14-2008 at 08:29 AM.. |

| Vista Business 32bit | Re: Flight Simulator 2002 on Vista? Interesting... I'm facing the same video problem, even with Aero disabled. Also with Vista 32bit and GeForce (8400, in my case). |
