Vista - OMG help

ok i bought Warhammer online and i keep getting my disk is corrupt. windows doesnt recognized the format. I can install it on my labtop so i know its not the disk. my disk drive plays music and installs other games (WoW) but it will not let me play DVDs (i have a DVD-CD ROm) witch is weird. Am i missing something, do i have download something?

thats strange, thats a new game so its definately vista compatible... hopefully. what is the exact error message?

Give the error message so we can determine whats wrong with it ^^.

it says: "cant not read disk my be corrupt. if the disk is formatted make sure your running it so windows can recognize it. if unformatted you may have to format it and try again" that basically what it says its an older dvd/cd-rom think i might have to download something like powerDvD or something? ive already uninstalled it and device manager and reinstalled it and everything, it only does it to my dvd movies and this game so far that ive tryed

The disc might be corrupt. Make sure that the disc uses a format that windows recongnizes. If the disc is unformatted you need to format it before using. that the exact message

Try exchanging it for another one at the store you bought it from.

but its not the disk it letting me download it to my labtop just not my PC im thinking its a software issue for some reason

or maybe even hardware but its not the disk

is your laptop running the same OS as the computer your trying to install it on? both vista? both 64 bit?
