Vista - Call of Duty 5...

Been playing the game for like a week now ( got it pre ordered )

It's okay, not that much different from COD4

One of the reasons why I don't play online, aside from being a bad shooter, is the fact that I hate having to jump through all them hurdles to get online only to get capped as soon as I am out of the spawn

Nah, I have enough of a hard time keeping me alive in single player

Anyone having that glitch where by you have SLi enbaled and in game settings Dual Video Cards set to Yes and when in single player the water on screen gives some ghost effect or some weird silhouette. I had to turn off the settings for Dual Video Cards.

I don't have SLI but I did enable that setting and I noticed the same thing, so I would say that it is a bug, seems that they should have had a beta single player as well, hopefully they will make a patch to fix the problem, other than that it's a good game but not enjoying it as much as COD4 in single player but it may get better, I have only played the first 2 levels so far.

Alledgedly, patch 1.01 will fix that issue and it is out now. I don't have SLI so I didn't have the problem and since the game is running fine, I did not install the patch as of yet.

I am weary about installing patches since the last few games I have have played (R6 Vegas 1 & II, GRAW I & II, then FC2) the patches have ruined more than what they have fix. Besides, usually patches only fix problems with MP so I don't care much for them.

I'm not going to be getting it... The CoD franchise needs to continue on the path that Infinity Ward started with CoD4, modern and near future story lines. Going back to WWII just completely broke the cycle, I would assume that CoD5 was already in development before CoD4 details were noted because if it wasn't then Treyarch is retarded.

I will not be buying this game, I will be buying CoD6 when Infinity Ward releases it for one reason. Near Future Call of Duty will rock.

I'm with you Freelancer, WWII IS DONE, I would have been happier if they had continued with what COD4 started, WWII games have been done so many times and it gets a bit repetitive but saying that this is a good game and if we hadn't seen so many others WWII games before it we would probably appreciate it more.

Is it just me or the F5 (Quick Save) doesn't work? Tried different key binds but none of the worked.

Anyone getting the problem where you can't connect to multiplayer games? It's getting really annoying. Takes me a while til I can connect to one. It keeps saying server authentication error. And then after a while I can connect to some random server.

I had that problem a lot with CoD4 as well.
