Re: Call of Duty 5...

Appdata in C drive User> your user name> Appdata> Local.

You need to go to folder options and tick the show hidden files to see the appdata folder.

I blame myself really since I am still trying to get a feel for Vista, I must done something w/o even realizing it. Oh well, it will give me a chance to revise my approach methods the second time around.

Re: Call of Duty 5...

i saw this game today, whats the deal, its exactly the same as cod4 even the weapons are all the same.

Cant really call it a game, they should have labelled it an expansion pack & sold for 60% of the current price, but thats just activision being greedy i suppose.

fieseler, you may have gotten your games confused. CoD 4 is a Modern Warfare game, AK-47's, M-16's, M-4's, M-60's, .50 Cal sniper rifles, etc, etc, etc and with modern conflicts.

CoD 5 is a World War II game, 40's type weapons, Germans Vs Russians, US vs Japan.

So, I don't know how can you say that the weapons even look the same.

Is it the same WWII type stuff? yes, mainly but then again, many of the new so called next gen First Person Shooters out there today are either Band Console Ports and dumb down so kiddies can cope with it, repetitive missions after mission. At least this one changes characters and missions every time and keeps you entertained.

CoD 4 had cooler weapons but more repetitive stuff, CoD 5 has older weapons but different missions.

Re: Call of Duty 5...

I bought this game and love it. I dont think the WW2 genre is stale, but I guess I like history more than most. The weapons are soooo much fun to play with, much better than the accurate CoD4 weapons. With these you can go full tilt all the time, panzershrecking mobs of guys 30 feet away, machine gunning Nazis (the 2nd best enemy ever conceived) to your heart's content.

BUT I cant believe this thread has gone on so long with no mention of the Nazi Zombies (THE best enemy ever conceived)! The Nazi Zombie mode is worth $50 alone, its incredible fun. I cant get through a Nazi Zombie session without breaking into maniacal laughter as wave after wave of zombies named Hans die to my Browning machine gun or FG42. If you all havent tried it, do it!!! You wont regret =)
