Vista - Chronicles of Riddick..

Has anyone successfully gotten this game to work on Vista? x64 to be exact..

Nope I don't have an AGP card.

worked a treat, but you need to update or it just wont work, patch 1.1 worked perfectly. heres some pics of game play
i know its not full screen, i couldnt take pics with fraps as it doesnt recognise it as a full screen directx game, its OpenGL. so had to have it in windowed mode to take screenies

Sheit - I can't update mine (tried, errors out). I have the goddamn "download and pay" version, instead of the retail box.

Crap. I really wanted to play it again, before the sequel comes out.

This game is supposed to be a shooter and at the moment, I am fresh out of games to play... would you guys recommend it as a fun shooter? what can you compare it to (if any)?

Is it time like TimeShift, Fear?

I would hate to get it and toss it away.

its a good game, very long and seems like you complete it and its not over, just keeps on going, i would compare it to something like oblivion and hitman mixed together, nice graphics even for todays standard, but the view may give you a headache.
and storyline wise, dont be disappointed when you dont have eyeshine(if you dont know what eyeshine is, watch pitch black and chronicles of riddick) when you start the game as this was set before pitch-black (the movie).

I watched both those movies and I am already disliking the game as I hate games that you have to play in the dark. I also noticed there are new ones out there. I'll see if my friend has it or I'll check a Demo before commiting to it.
