BF2 and Vista 64bit

I am having problems with my new PC and BF2. I am getting kicked from servers during map change with the following error msg. "This server only allows players with unmodified content to join. Revert your version of battlefiled 2 to the current official verison to join." However, I am able to join the server to begin with and rejoin after the kick, but during each map change I keep getting kicked. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling using the compatibility assistant and following EA's order of reinstall and I still keep getting the same error!! Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried multiple forums but no fix just yet... Thanks

007Raider welcome to the forums.

First let me say that that error has zero to do with Vista, and everything to do with BF2 itself. That error has been around as long as the game. You say you have checked multiple forums, have you been to this one yet,

Support - Total Gaming Network

search their BF2 support section and see what others have done to fix it over the years.

No I have not checked there, but I will.... I have heard that there is an issue with overclocking? What do you know about that. I am certainly not going to change for one game.
