Hello Zamster.

Can I assume that you had the DVD in the drive?
If you have multiple drives, make sure it is in the one you installed it in.

Hello akroma,

Since Zamster never replied, I guess he doesn't care.

Anyways, can you see the disk in my computer?

I'm assuming you've disabled any disk imaging software you may have? It will not run with any processes like that running in the background.

I had the same thing with every game except c&c1 and ra1.

To get them running just make sure you own the files, are running them in xp(sp2) compatibility and when you start the launcher run it as administrator.

Hope this helps

My Computer

i have spent ages trying to figure out the plz insert correct cd/dvd error message ive tryed everything it doesnt work every option in administrator ive tryed i have vista 32 bit. red alert 3 works fine so wtf some 1 help me there must be a way?

My Computer

With a lot of older games you might try moving the C&C directory to the Root directory out from under the C:\Program Files directory. Reinstall the game to the Root directory, and then run as administrator, and run under windows XP compatible. See if that helps.

Upgraded the power supply to 600Watt, in order to get the Nvidia 8800 graphics card to run. And added 1GB of memory even through 32 bit Vista will not use it all.
