| Vista Home Premium 32bit | BSOD while playing WoW I got another BSOD while playing WoW. I though I had fixed the previous cause so I'm not sure where this one came from. Below is the text that came up after the restart and I attached the dmp file in a zip file. Can anyone help me determine the cause? Code: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3 Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 1000008e BCP1: C000001D BCP2: 93C07417 BCP3: 803F0D24 BCP4: 00000000 OS Version: 6_0_6001 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 768_1 |

| Win7x64 | Re: BSOD while playing WoW It's a crash in USB code, possibly due to a game controller or USB mouse you were using while playing the game. I'd suggest you start by applying this hotfix (don't worry about its description): Error message when you put a Windows Vista-based or a Windows Server 2008-based computer to sleep, or you wake the computer up: "STOP: 0x0000009F" |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: BSOD while playing WoW I actually already have that hotfix applied. I applied it a month ago when I had a similar BSOD. I my usb devices are a dell keyboard, a G5 Laser mouse, and a Nostromos N52. Would these devices cause this? |

| Win7x64 | Re: BSOD while playing WoW Sorry, USB crashes are notoriuously difficult to troubleshoot. It's difficult to tell whether the underlying cause is hardware or a bug in a related driver. There's simply not enough info in a minidump for "actual" debugging. I'd suggest updating all drivers for those devices as much as possible, and then moving them around to different USB ports on the machine, assuming you've got more ports. If the same crashes persist, you might want to look at temporarily testing a different mouse/keyboard combo. Updating the BIOS and chipset drivers would not go astray either. |
