| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Half-Life 2 Cinematic Mod 10.0 Has anybody else noticed that when you click on the new Half Life 2 icon after installing this mod it runs the game without STEAM running? In my hatred of STEAM i never noticed till now. But the episode 1 and 2 icons still require steam to be running in the background  Can someone confirm this so il know if its something iv done or if it comes that way. |

Im not bothered about the other ones like portal etc as iv set them with -appluanch 400 etc and thats fine but if i can get hl2, episode 1 and episode 2 without steam that will be great. |

All three games now work by just clicking on the icon (you know like every other pc game in existence lol) No more having to click on the steam icon before clicking on a game, no more waiting on steam to update, no more having to remember to close steam after iv finished playing the game, no more STEAM etc Im well chuffed  |
