I tried installing the disc into my laptop.

-The problem it says im having is about Direct x ."Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics addapters in this system! To be honest. im not all that clued up about laptops so i would appreciate a straightforawrd answer, and if it is infact possible to play this game on my laptop.

try downloading and installing Directx 9 here is the link. sometimes it needs a directx 9 file even if you have directx 10 installed.
Download DirectX 9.0c (full package) - the latest version of Direct X
