The sims 2.

I know there have been alot of threads on this subject. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me?
I tried installing the disc into my laptop.

Which is a Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile. V5535

-The problem it says im having is about Direct x ."Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics addapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate."

To be honest. im not all that clued up about laptops so i would appreciate a straightforawrd answer, and if it is infact possible to play this game on my laptop.

try downloading and installing Directx 9 here is the link. sometimes it needs a directx 9 file even if you have directx 10 installed.

Download DirectX 9.0c (full package) - the latest version of Direct X

The error is questioning your video card.

What video card do you have? Do yo have vista drivers for it?
