Re: Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse... $20.00 w/MiR

My kids just got the Xbox 360 and went online, it took them like 20 mins to get setup and then another 20 to find a race (forza Motorsports)... in all that time I had already bagged a few baddies

I hear you though, sometimes, I wish I could join a team of mature adult players to have some good tactical fun... I may just do that one of this days.

Re: Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse... $20.00 w/MiR

So, so far I am not to thrill with the mouse but I know I gotta give it its due time... we will see in a week or so whether I'll be keeping it or selling it cheap

One of the things is though, I can use any of the buttons (except 1 & 2) on Half Life 2 Episode 2,, no matter what I tried... have not tried it in any of the other games yet.

First of all, I did uninstall the G7 Setpoint 4.7 I had installed on my Windows 7 OS ( Sorry, I should have started this thread on the other forum), rebooted and installed the dedicated Setpoint 5.1 for the G9. Even though it told me that it didn't pass inspection or whatever, I went ahead with the install and it even update to a new version.

Went to the game and told it to use button 4 for Secondry attack and button 5 for Reload. I thought everything was beautiful because I saw Mouse 4 & mouse5 respectively. Once inside the game... a big NOTHING.

So I quit the game, opened the G9 Setpoint control panel, made a custom profile for the HL 2, where I woud use the letter "T" for 2nd Attack and the letter "R" for Reload, went back to the game, options and binded it accordingly... NOPE, it didn't work either.

I was kinda tired yesterday so I am hoping that today I will have a look see if I can make it work but I was wondering if other G9 owners have had this issue and how they were able to get around it.
