Help please

I have bought a laptop with windows vista home and i cant play any MMORPG games on it. it starts to update but then say it cant download update list.
The same games work fine on my PC which uses XP pro sp2.
please help me, I really want to play these games on the laptop.

Can you please list your laptop spec's, also what game is it your trying to play, and is it the game update or window's update that is failing ?, thank's.

all games I tried didnt work like Deco online, Atlantis, Silkroad online
The game update doesnt work

Are you trying to update from the game browser or is it from a 3rd party site ?

Try and get the updates from a 3rd party site such as the game developers site. Post your results and good luck.

I can play someMMOs on my XP laptop; however, I must be in windowed mode. It will crash in full screen mode. 512Megs of ram, 2.1 GHz cpu.

So, you might check for a program in the MMO folder that will let you configure things without running the game, or an ini (initialization) file you can edit in a text editor. Might be in defaults.ini or something like hardware.ini Or a similar filename.
