Before you buy a game.

Would you like to know if your system will run a game BEFORE you buy it ?.

Of course you would, you dont want to spend your money on a game only to find out after installing it , it won't play on your system.

Here is a neat little site, it will tell you if your game will run, and what sort of performance you can expect on your system.

Can You RUN It?

Hope this helps, and save's a bit of cash, and stress.

Re: Before you buy a game.

Yes, I have used it a couple of times and even though is not a perfect science (then again, what is!)... it does its job fairly well.

Re: Before you buy a game.

Since upgrading my system i dont use it, there is not a game this bad boy cant handle, (for a while anyway), but when i was on steam power i used it all the time, if you use it as a guide it's useful.
Thanks for your reply.

Re: Before you buy a game.

yes it works but it is not always perfect.

like it says i should be able to run NFS undercover on my wifes laptop, but in real life it is really choppy.

Re: Before you buy a game.

It shows my video card as being one notch up from the minimum system requirements for COD world at war , as im playing at 1680x1050 16AF 4AA with ambient occlusion on , gamma AA on and transparency AA on with a minimum of 60 fps id say it should rate a little higher dont you??

I think its a little misleading
