direct X

just curious, what the diffrence from direct x 9 and 10.i saw the ati video from the diffrence, seems that direct x 10 has better quality, but what does it have to do with graphi cards..... also, does this mean direct x 9 cards cant run direct x 10 games...

Graphics cards have the features built into them. A DX9 card will render in DX9 and below only. A DX10 card will render in DX10 or below. As far as I know there is only one DX10 only game, "Stormrise" that a DX9 card will not run on.

Mate, everything is out of date the moment you buy it

I wouldn't panic - Your card will be usable for quite a while
