all his game guides are fantastic , his "DX10 on the cheap settings" (tweaking very high settings in DX9) for crysis are marvellous , twice the fps of DX10 and very little differance between the two visually.

all his guides are fantastic , unfortunately he doesnt do them anymore but his site is excellent for keeping up to date with the latest patches/driver releases

his forceware guide and his Vista guide are also a must read

I get about 40 FPS on average but it comes down when I make a video clip and even when I make a snapshot. I am playing it at x64 bits, 1680 x 1050, 8x AA and everything else set to High

This snapshot does not make it justice and uploading a boring video that we all have seen before is not my cup of tea

I'll read that tweak and see if I can pick up a few more FPSs but truth is... I am extremely happy with my rig

engage a few kpa , throw a few nades , the take a screenshot of your fps

edit...........im getting 22/30 fps in crysis warhead high battle lots of dust explosions bullets etc 1680x1050 all settings at enthsiast except post processing , shadows and particles these 3 ares er to gamer No antialaising but edge AA set to 1

with motion blur se to 5 its actually very playable and the drops are only for a few seconds

one thing worth mentioning if you have plenty of ram and your running 64 bit ingame (32 bit will crash) using the r_textureStreaming 0 command will improve image quality with no fps hit , if you aint git much GPU/physical ram it will stutter though (it changes the way crysis uses textures , it caches them instead of streaming them , one of the best tweaks ive tried

I am game for trying anything, care to explain to us mere mortals how, exactly, do we go and do that Tweak? I have 8 GB's of Ram, a GTX260 + 9500Gt for PhysX duty so I am assuming I can handle a little more tweaking w/o bottlenecking my hardware.

I will try going to the console ingame and adding that up to see what it does but I am sure I should be putting that in a cfg or xml file somewhere.

Well, just tried the tweak in the console and it say... Unrecognized command or something similar.

On the other hand, here are a couple of screenshots while heavy battle and nade throwing... you kinda die quick when you run & gun to much with the KPA

TweakGuides.com - Crysis Tweak Guide

its all there trust me its well worth a read ,

Crysis warhead is th same there are a few alterations to a few things

TweakGuides.com - Crysis Warhead Tweak Guide

one thing you might miss , before putting any command into console (just to test you can write them to a cfg later to make them permanent ((all the instructions for that are there too))) you need to put in con_restricted 0 I missed that bit

what res and settings do you have? fps look good
