Building a PC

Ok as you may have seen from the title i am building a new gaming PC my budget is $2500 - $4000 just depends of heres what i have so far

CPU: Newegg.com - Intel Core i7 920 Nehalem 2.66GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops
HEATSINK: Newegg.com - XIGMATEK Dark Knight-S1283V 120mm Long Life Bearing CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks
GPU: Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X 100269VXL Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Also for the GPU i may wait for the 58XX cards to come out.

so tell me if these parts are compatible, etc

also would i be able to run crysis on max if i get the 58XX series cards?

The reason why i put this thread here is because i couldn't find any other place to put it.

it all looks good except for your cpu.... (but i'm sure you'll stick with that )
um.... i'd wait for the 5000 series and as of now... there is not sure speed for them.... but i'm betting 10% to 35% faster than the 4890 so its worth the wait nice case choice btw oh look at the patriot memory...... the viper series to be exact and see whatca think

i'd get that over the other choice you had... oh... and if you want to get a fan controller look into the nzxt sentry....
and also.... you might want to think about crossfiring that 4890.... if you don't wait for the 5000 series that is....

For that budget get a GTX 295 and a Core 950, ATI will not max out crysis for a while. You also should get a 1000w PSU.

1000w will easily future proof your system. NVIDIA is the best choice right now, also check out 1600MHz DDR3 RAM.
