Please HELP! F3 Problem

Hi guys, firstly- im New to vista, and got it several days ago- i realised that some progs are incompartible, etc.. and basically have Crap perfomance- so i guessed to turn on the compatibility option with XP on- and they worked!
But with fallout 3 game - it launches, during installation it says at some point that C++ redistributable 2005 library has error, or somthing, and i must type /help (How the hell? Im not in dos, this is Vista, where do i type even if i want to?)
But i press ok, and it keeps installing game smoothly.
Then i Launch the actual game, see intro screen, and choose new game, it starts loading with little- almost colourless people being loaded and shown on the screen- and it crashes.
(Says something, that vista encountered problem, or something)
Also, i dont have internet at home, otherwise id do what error said- report the problem and check for solutions online, but now im in community point, where internet is availiable, so i thought i'll try and get help from u guys.
Thanx be4 hand,
hope u can help me, please! and
sorry if i spammed too much, i dont know what to write, so i wrote all i could think of

Re: Please HEEEEEEELP! F3 Problem

By hell, yeah- i Did the patch, it installed 100% but then at the end gave me an error message, something about the library.......
Oh, btw i tried the save games other ppl made, and- well, it starts loading a game, but then crashes, again, to the desktop.
Just to predict future questions- i did remove the klite codec pack, that was known to cause issues with Oblivion and fallout 3, i did update directx without any errors, as specified, and still nothing helps.
U r my only hope!

Re: Please HEEEEEEELP! F3 Problem

CC++ library could be corrupt. Audio, video, monitor drivers could be also corrupt or obsolete and you need to install new ones. Your computer may not have the necessary requirements to play F3 (doubtful but possible).

Along with your system specs, tell us what version of drivers you have right now.

Re: Please HELP! F3 Problem

i know, requirements- the thing is, i got like no graphics card- but, i still manage to play other, eg. batman Assylum (It was extremely laggy, but i turned all options to max). i mean, HL2 runs on the max without glitch at all now.
My ram- 3 GB (Plus one GB that is used by grafics chip)
Processor- 2.5, quad core
motherboard- eer, dunno
OS- vista, lol (Already hate it because of F3 not working, arr)
DirectX- well, gt the one that was on the Falout 3 disk.
Also- it didnt ask me for extra things, eg. DVD key, or nothing- although it was included too.
I had klite codec, but added fallout3.exe as exception- then just uninstalled klite compeletely, but it still didnt help!

Re: Please HELP! F3 Problem

Look. Your getting a message about the library and your patch install failed - indicating a problem with the library.

Hello bliznez,
Unless you installed it to a different location, this is the default path.
