Re: Can someone check my nfo file?

You have an issue with the ISATAP adaptor in your Device Manager. Right click on it and select "Uninstall" - then reboot the system. In most cases the adapter won't come back and everything will be OK. If it does come back and is still making an error, then you'll need to further troubleshoot it.

The ga_main.exe program is still causing issues accessing memory - so I'd recommend a complete removal of GTA4 (to include saved games) and then install the legitimate copy after rebooting.

Please be sure that you've uninstalled all cracked software from the system before trying any further troubleshooting. There's no telling what effect it has on your system.

There's 2 reasons we don't help with cracked software:
1 - it's illegal
2 - cracked software doesn't behave as a normal Windows program should - so normal troubleshooting procedures are of limited or no value. We can spend weeks chasing a problem and be no nearer to solving it - just because the cracked copy isn't working like we expect it to.

Re: Can someone check my nfo file?

Yeah i feel regret having cracked verision of gta 4 after i bought it 1 week because its really an amazing game so i bought the legal copy.
But i dont rly find the uninstall button while i put in the disk, all it does is run it like normal.
Also if i uninstall and install it..im not sure if it will save my process as i cant find the saves file

Re: Can someone check my nfo file?

Saved games are located in:

C:\Users\*yourname*\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games

You can uninstall it through Control panel > add/remove programs.

The problem is that since you used a crack, you would have had an offline Games for Windows Live profile. Installing the legitimate copy and creating a new profile will not allow you to use your saved games.

You must continue to use your off line profile. Google how to keep using your saved games.

Re: Can someone check my nfo file?

lol, it's a good enough game to play again

It may take some jiggery pokery to get the saved games to work again, but it is doable - unless the pirated version wasn't patched to 1.4

There was some drama about saved games from 1.3< not working after applying the 1.4 patch, even on legitimate copies.

Good luck

If it keeps occuring, please zip the .dmp located in the above folder.

Have you tried the usual suspects?

Updating your video/sound drivers

Do you have an Anti-Virus running in the background?
