| Vista Ultimate x64, SP2 | Re: Battlefield 2 Won't Run Well, title says it all, I can't even run the damn game. Screen flashes to black then back to desktop. I tried patches, cracks, etc. Nothing seems to work. Reinstalled multiple times, configured video.con file. Anyone know a solution or at least what's wrong? Any help appreciated. How far in to the start up of the game are you getting ?. Are you getting the "BF2 stopped responding" error message, or is it CTD and thats it ?. A lot of the problems with this game were sound related, try playing around with the sound on your system. Disable it to start and see what happens. Do you have FFDShow on your system ?. Can you confirm you are patched to the latest patch for the game. This is not a Vista problem, so you need to start looking at other things. Go here and see if your system is up to it. http://www.ea.com/systemchecker?name...ete-collection |
